We are taught that we must become upright people who, in God’s sight, are blameless and fully keep His commandments. “In the time of Herod king of Judea there was a priest named Zechariah, who belonged to the priestly division of Abijah; his wife Elizabeth was also a descendant of Aaron. Both of them were righteous in the sight of God, observing all the Lord’s commands and decrees blamelessly” [(Modern Translation: “When Herod was king of Judea, there was a priest named Zechariah of the division of Abijah, and his wife Elizabeth also came from the family of Aaron. They were righteous before God and faithfully kept all the Lord’s commandments and regulations without fault”)] (Luke 1:5–6). 예수 그리스도가 기초인 것을 알고 그분 안에 깊이 뿌리를 박고 기초이신 예수 그리스도로 인생을 건설하며 가르침을 받은 대로 믿음에 굳게 서서 감사가 넘치는 생활을 하고 있는 목사님 예수 그리스도가 기초인 것을 알고 그분 안에 깊이 뿌리를 박고 기초이신 예수 그리스도로 인생을 건설하며 가르침을 받은 대로 믿음에 굳게 서서 감사가 넘치는 생활을 하고 있는 목사님은 하나님의 건물인 성도님들에게 예수 그리스도의 복음을 심어 그들의 믿음의 기초를 견고케 하며 그 기초 위에 단단한 음식을 먹는 믿음이 성숙한 그리스도인으로 세우는데 헌신을 합니다 . 그러나 그러지 못한 목사님들은 하나님의 건물인 성도님들보다 교회 건물과 같은 외부적인 것을 세우는데 더 헌신을 하고 또한 성도님들에게 그 헌신을 요구합니다 ( 참고 : 고린도전서 2:6; 3:11-12; 골로새서 2:7; 히브리서 5:14, 현대인의 성경 ).
