God’s love, which is stronger than death, is causing me to continue walking the path of the mission the Lord has given me (John 6:1–15). “At that very time some Pharisees came and said to Him, ‘Leave this place and go somewhere else. Herod wants to kill You.’ He replied, ‘Go tell that fox, “I will keep driving out demons and healing people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach My goal.” In any case, I must press on today and tomorrow and the next day—for surely no prophet can die outside Jerusalem! Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing. 마치 에덴동산 같아 보일지라도 ... 아무리 우리 눈으로 보기에 그곳이 넉넉하고 풍족해 보이되 마치 에덴동산 같아 보일지라도 ( 창세기 13:10) 그 곳에 거하는 사람들이 하나님 앞에 큰 죄인들이라면 (13 절 ) 우리는 그 곳은 에덴동산이 아니라 소돔과 고모라임을 명심해야 합니다 (10 절 ). 만일 우리가 우리의 명철을 의지하여 ( 잠언 3:5) 소돔과 고모라와 같은 곳을 선택한다면 컽으로는 편안하고 풍족하게 살지는 모르겠지만 우리의 의로운 심령은 상할 것입니다 ( 베드로후서 2:8).
