For some of us, it’s been a while. In our hard-working, highly productive culture, we can sometimes feel like exhausted swimmers swept downstream in a fast-moving river, fighting to keep our heads above water, gasping for air. We get up early and stay up late. We never waste a minute. Our schedule is full, running here, running there, running late, running to catch up, running on empty, until we collapse in utter exhaustion. Underneath the satisfaction of being hard-working, hard-playing people is a weariness that’s desperate for the pace to relent so we can rest and recharge. Deep down, we’re dying to slow down and take a break. We keep telling ours...
"그 저주 때문에 ..." 시므이는 계속해서 도망가는 다윗 왕을 저주했습니다 . 그 저주의 내용 중 이런 말이 있습니다 : " 너는 피를 흘린 자이므로 화를 자초하였느니라 ." 물론 시므이는 사울의 친족 한 사람으로서 다윗이 사울의 족속의 모든 피를 흘린 것을 말한 것이지만 저는 다윗이 밧세바와 동침한 것을 덮고자 그녀의 남편이요 다윗의 충성된 군인인 우리아의 피를 흘린 것이 생각났습니다 . 그 결과 다윗은 화를 자초하되 자기의 아들 압살롬이 자기의 생명을 해하려고 하지 않았나 생각합니다 ( 참고 : 삼하 12:9-12). 다윗은 ' 하나님께서 시므이에게 자기를 저주하라 명령하신 것이니 . 그가 저주하게 버려두라고 스루야의 아들들에게 말했습니다 . 그는 " 혹시 여호와께서 나의 원통함을 감찰하시리니 오늘 그 저주 때문에 여호와께서 선으로 내게 갚아주시리라 " 고 말했습니다 ( 삼하 16:5-12). 하나님께서는 저주의 나무인 십자가에 죽으신 예수님 때문에 우리에게 구원을 베풀어 주셨습니다 .
